During my time at Lost Boys Interactive I contributed to Diablo 4 as a level artist in the final production stages under the amazing leadership of Jeffery Lee.
To showcase the areas I helped create, I played through the game to capture in-game screenshots, highlighting the areas I contributed to the project. My team ramped down before we could capture any in-engine screenshots of our work so finally I took the time to play through it.
My tasks on this project included:
- Terrain Sculpting/Painting (using terrain tools to manipulate & and paint terrain textures also optimizing nav mesh generation for players and AI to navigate smoothly).
- Prefabs (using assets from object bank to build location specific set pieces like destroyed cabins, graveyards, and set dressing clusters).
- Dungeon Entrances (manipulating terrain, collision, and set dressing to construct dungeon entrance layouts).
